Steel blade with no sharp edges to swiftly saw cardboard, not fingers.

Best of all, the cut edge of the cardboard is softened to eliminate those pesky cardboard paper cuts. We don’t call it the Safe-Saw for nothing!

How to use the Safe-Saw:
Reverse the tool to punch holes as a cutting guide-line if you need.
The graded serrations allow you to easily saw any thickness of cardboard with a forward and backwards motion.

What’s included?

1x Makedo Safe-Saw cardboard construction tool.

    Makedo Kit

I had accumulated a large number (30+) of storage boxes, intended for the local infant school.

I was minding grandchildren aged 7, 7, 5 and 2 on three successive very wet days in the summer holidays. Fortunately I have a disused flat in the basement, which these 4 kids of very different levels of manual dexterity, abilities and imagination managed to use as a base to work together cooperatively and generally respectfully (helped by judiciously arranged food breaks) over the 3 days to end up with a large and dense fortress which delighted all of them.

I have wondered what would happen next- nothing for several weeks, but they have now spontaneously decided to dismantle it and are managing this in a far more coordinated way than I anticipated- in particular storage of the screws for their next project. Lots of cold winter months to come.

Incidentally, by the end the 2yo had mastered the art of sawing to his own satisfaction- much effort and little damage!

    ✨ Kid-Approved Fun ✨

I’ve got three kids, ages 1 to 8, and let me tell you, these products are seriously awesome. My kids were lucky enough to be gifted a few Makedo products for Christmas and they were all obsessed from the minute we opened the box; even my littlest one could get involved (with a little help, of course). Yesterday they spent hours creating swords and shields, and even little aliens to battle. They're learning teamwork and problem-solving skills and have a constant, creative outlet with a resource that can be used over and over again.

If you're looking for something that'll keep the whole crew entertained and doing their part for the planet, Makedo is the way to go.
